Flow therme

Insufflation gas at body temperature. Insufflation of gas lower than body temperature may cause an intra-abdominal hypothermia owing to the vast size of the peritoneal surface and the cold of evaporation resulting from this factor.

At pelviscopic measurements, it has been shown that not only the intra-abdominal temperature decreases to under 32°C, but also the rectal temperature is reduced by 1–3°C (depending on the operative time, gasconsumption etc.).

When CO2-gas comes into contact with the peritoneum the first and active reaction noticeable is that of a hypothermia. The further insufflation of cool CO2-gas leads to “peritoneal catarrh”. This reduces the patient ́s wellbeing post-operatively and is responsible for a variety of post- operative complaints.

Morcellator

The morcellator allows the surgeon to directly extract morcellated tissue without the need to remove the complete device. This simple to use device will increase the patient safety and decrease the operating time of the procedure. The continuous extraction morcellator blades come as a single use product.Whether the tissue mass is soft and compliant or fibrous and resilient, our cutting tubes have been specially designed to make easy work of the procedure.
Some unique characteristics:

  • Uncomplicated and time-saving morcellation.
  • Riskless intra-abdominal, intra-thoracic morcellation, even of larger tissues.
  • Sharp and resistant edge of tube.
  • Cutting tube with great stability, made of high-quality stainless steel.
  • Working length 240 mm.

There are two different morcellator-devices available: the POWER DRIVE and the MORC DRIVE MINI

Power Drive

  • Usable with Single and Twin Cut
  • Uncomplicated and time-saving morcellation
  • Riskless intra-abdominal, intra-thoracic morcellation, even of larger tissues.
  • Morcellation with the POWER DRIVE is accurate and continuous.
  • The POWER DRIVE is connected to the electricity net.
  • Constant rotation moment, no decrease in power when morcellating large or hard myoma.
  • Maintenance free source of power of 220 volt
  • Motor, drive and morcellation tubes have easy connection.
  • Motor and drive are autoclavable at 134°C

Morc Drive Mini

  • Usable with Single and Twin Cut
  • Rechargeable wireless lithium-ion drive unit
  • Constant high rotation moment at low speed
  • Riskless intra-abdominal, intra-thoracic morcellation, even of larger tissues.
  • Patented rotating control switch for precise control from whatever angle
  • Motor, drive and morcellation tubes have easy connection.
  • LED indicators for the charge level.

The continuous extraction morcellation tubes are available in 2 forms, nl. Twin Cut and Single Cut.
